How we think about charging you.

01

Never paywall mid-case.

When you hit zero credits, we warn you — but we don't block an answer in progress. The upgrade conversation happens at the start of your next case, not in the middle of a dispute.

02

Monthly by default, with discounts for longer commitments.

Most disputes run a few weeks. Monthly billing matches that — start, resolve, cancel. If you know you'll need this for longer, quarterly saves around 16 % and yearly saves around 25 %.

03

No cheaper-than-the-problem.

The cheapest monthly plan is 99 kr — less than one hour of a lawyer's time. If Parat saves you one hour of preparation, it's paid for itself. We don't think we need to be cheaper than that.

04

You can leave any month.

Cancel at any time. Your data room stays yours — export everything, keep the PDFs of your briefs. If you come back next year, your case picks up where you left it.

Common questions.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes — sign up free, upload your documents, and complete the intake interview. You'll see a partial brief preview: the first section and all section headings are visible, the rest is blurred. Subscribe to unlock the full brief.

What happens when my billing period ends?

Your subscription auto-renews on the same date. Credits reset at renewal — they do not roll over. Top-up credits, if any, carry forward.

What if I run out of credits mid-case?

You can top up at any point — 150 kr for 500 credits on Light, 200 kr for 1,000 on Standard. Top-up credits don't expire. We never interrupt a session to sell you more.

Is my data deleted if I cancel?

No. You keep read-only access to your existing cases and briefs for twelve months after cancelling, and you can export everything at any time. See our security page for details.

Can I use Parat outside Norway?

Yes. The interview, fact ledger, timeline, insurance track, and brief all work the same anywhere. Statute lookup is currently specific to Norway (Lovdata); in other jurisdictions you add citations yourself. More jurisdictions are planned.

Can I get a VAT invoice for my business?

Yes. Every charge produces a proper Norwegian VAT invoice with your organisation number, delivered by email and available in your account.

What counts as an “active” case?

A case is active while it's being worked on. You can archive finished cases to free a slot without losing access — an archived case still counts as storage, not as active.

Can lawyers buy this for their clients?

Yes — that's what Pro is for. You run the Parat workspace on behalf of a client, collect their side, and hand the brief back to yourself for the actual legal work.
